Robinsons Supermarket brought wellness to Robinsons Ermita Midtown Atrium last July 19 and 20, to give consumers and shoppers a firsthand experience of its wellness and healthy living advocacy. Dubbed as the Robinsons Supermarket Wellness and Nutrition Festival Weekend, the two-day event put the spotlight on different ways to improve one’s overall wellbeing. With day one dedicated to fitness and grooming, and day two on fun and easy ways to keep the whole family healthy.

The Midtown Atrium was adorned with booths of products and health services from Robinsons Supermarket brand partners. Mall-goers of all ages lined up for free bone scanning at the Anlene booth, free nutritional counseling at the Nestlé booth, and child development assessment at the Enfakid booth. Abott provided free blood pressure check ups and sample Ensure and Glucerna to participants, while Enervon gave away exclusive freebies to those who purchased Enervon HP and Enervon Prime.

With Sam Oh as the event’s energetic host for day one, there was not a dull moment throughout the event. Of course, Robinsons Supermarket also did its part in providing great excitement and entertainment for the crowd. Summer Allada of Peak Performance Studio performed a Belly Dancing routine. Managing director of OJL Consulting Group Olen Lim, shared grooming and styling tips, while self-empowerment speaker and advocate Cory Quirino talked about staying “Forever Young” through a healthy lifestyle.

Unilever Philippines showcased a very special confidence-building production entitled, Kelly Kelly, Ang Hit na Musical. Kelly Kelly is a musical play teaching good grooming to young adults. Normally presented only in school campuses, the Kelly Kelly production at Robinsons Place Ermita’s Midtown Atrium was its only mall performance. Day two was hosted by Donita Rose. An active homemaker, Donita provided healthy baon tips for moms with a cooking demonstration using products and ingredients from Robinsons Supermarket. Since it was a Sunday, it was a fun-filled event for the entire family, with puppet shows on the Ten Commandments of Good Health, exciting games and raffle draws, as well as a very special number from teen singing sensation Sam Concepcion keeping everyone on their feet.
